Stern John header keeps World Cup dream alive.

Trinidad and Tobago Soca Warriors have kept the country's 2010 World Cup Dream alive by beating Bermuda 2 goals to none at the Bermuda National Sports Centre in Bermuda.

Playing in an attacking 3-5-2 formation, the Soca Warriors made their intent know as early as the 6th minute when striker Darryl Roberts beat Bermudian goal keeper Timothy Figuerido to send Trinidad and Tobago one goal ahead.

Needing to win by 2 clear goals, the Soca Warriors sealed their place in the next round of the qualifiers through a Stern John header off of a Carlos Edwards cross in the 69th minute.

Trinidad and Tobago will now face the following countries (United States, Cuba and Guatemala) when the second round qualifiers begin in August..

    Why do we always have to wait till our tail under pressure to perform? I hope that with the upcoming games we doh have to wait till d second game to perform but put our best foot forward from the first encounter

    First let me say congratulations to the Soca Warriors. We have survived. We now have some time to improve until the second round starts
