|
In 2008, Olatunji's two tracks for the Carnival season were "Having a Time" and "Throw Your Frame" which he wrote himself; and in 2009 he released Wajang and spent the year increasing his versatility by recording songs of other genres such as soca parang, "Tight" and reggae songs Young bird on the Sunday Riddim as well as dancehall flavoured "Ridin It" on the Road Block Riddim. Now in 2010 he is fully capable of pleasing the masses in both the groovy and up tempo arena. All of Olatunji's songs for 2010 have been produced by Neil Bernard who is well know for excellence in music production.
With up tempo "Disorderly" which has taken him into the Bmobile Power Soca Monarch Semi Finals and groovy song "So Ah Love It", Olatunji bound to capture not only the attention but the hearts of many. He gives an extremely energetic and riveting performance alongside legendary and revered band, his second family, Roy Cape All Stars.
With an effervescent personality and admirable humility, Olatunji is definitely making movements towards ultimate stardom. The very thing that is sure to make mama Mairoon proud.
Olatunji's motto remains: "to touch humanity through verse and song..."
