First time entrants Stephen Alexis and Kadaffi Romney from Brian Mac Farlane's Africa - "Her People, Her Glory, Her Years" took the King and Queen of Carnival title back to the Mac Farlane camp.

Stephen Alexis's King of Carnival costume "Ndlovu In Search" scored a total of 436 points to give Mac Farlane the title fo the second year in a row. The 200 pound Queen of Carnival costume "Manzandaba In Flight" worn by Kadaffi Romney took the title with 424 points.
The eight time King of Carnival Curtis Eustace could only manage second place despite his costume "Apollo's Lust" being well received by the audience.
