Mac Farlane's 2009 presentation "Africa" is the story of a woman named Manzandaba (mah-nzah-ndah'bah) who left her family in search of stories to tell them and ended up on the most amazing journey of life.

The success of his portrayal has brought the Mac Farlane camp the third succesive Band of the Year title. The hat-trick began in 2007 with "India - the story of Boyie", then victory in 2008 with "Earth - Cries of despair".

This add to Mac Farlane's titles for 2009 having also won King and Queen of Carnival 2009.
