Faye-Ann Lyons-Alvares wins 2009 Trinidad and Tobago Road March
The first woman to win the Soca Monarch crown Faye Ann Lyons added to her list of Carnival 2009 winnings by taking the 2009 Trinidad and Tobago Road March title, beating off Destra Garcia's Bacchanal.

Twenty Eight year old Fay-Ann Lyons daughter of legendary Road March title winner Austin "Super Blue" Lyons has won the Road March title on two previous occasions. Her 2009 tune 'Meet Super Blue' was a clear winner with 410 plays, while second place Destra Garcia's 'Bacchanal' managed only 76 plays. Third place went to Machel Montano's 'Wild Antz'.
The Road March competition gives bragging rights for one year to the entertainer who's musical composition is played the most at the Carnival judging points along the parade route.
